this fall in chilliwack and heartland

The days click by and stuff is going on and life is good. I've noticed there hasn't been a post here for awhile, my apologies. I don't have anything profound to say, but I thought I'd fill you in on what has been going on this fall.
  • Patti is working three days a week at unity
  • Matt is challenged by grade 11 and continues to pursue his creative interests
  • Mavericks is going well -- we find it very satisfying to help people with the digital media needs
  • Kassi is taking it to grade 10 and has been quite busy with friends, soccer and babysitting (translates into money to buy stuff :-)
  • Levi has been taking his mountain biking to a whole new level with the addition of dirt jumping. We may post a video of his biking later
  • James is in kindergarten this year and luving it. He is liking sushi more than McDonalds these days.
  • Mike is challenged by the start of many new things this fall at heartland. He had to visit the chiropractor this week - ouch - puts hockey on hold for now.
  • We are currently missing one gerbil, apparently the cage door opens too easily (update: the lost gerbil has been found)
  • The weather forecast for this week in Chilliwack looks great.
  • Heartland youth ministry has doubled -- which is awesome -- we are starting an exploring the fellowship class tonight
  • We are doing a series called "24" where we are looking at what would be a typical day in the life of Jesus.
  • My niece got married last weekend and we had a great celebration -- donald duncan showed up ... out of control.
  • The Chilliwack Bruins addition to Chilliwack has been great with Matt working at the rink, Kassi babysitting and Mike with the team.
