Doubt Wall
Is God real or He just something to believe in?
Why has so much hurt come to me?
God doesn't seem real, I have never seen him.

Doubts. We all have them. They rear their heads during a crises, darkness or when you are having coffee with a friend. We may not think of them regularily, but something happens and there they are. Most of the time we don't talk about them, unless we are in the therapist's office or under the care of hospice. But doubting is normal. It’s a normal part of the life of a believer. Doubts fuel questions, questions create curiosity, curiosity pursues God. An untested faith is fragile. There needs to come a point when you have to look past logic and evidence and towards a God who is more than we can fully understand. Questions like, Can I really trust In The Gospel? Does God really love me? Can I really be of any use to God? People today are more interested in a big God that is beyond our questions. They don’t want a God who fits our logic, who makes sense. More and more people are doubting these days. We are in a doubting culture. What are your doubts? |
