life and death of our beloved 4 wheeled family members

Just as I was celebrating the addition of a new member to the family, my friend was writing the eulogy for one of his. I definitely need to give him a ride in my reliant k, just to perk him up. Yes, that would be a good gesture.

new member of the family

we got a new member of the family, a 1998 reliant k [update, we have been informed by experts in the field that it is actually a 1988 reliant k, not 1998]. the kids love it and james refers to it as the k car. "can we please take the k car today?" is something new you'll hear around our house. matt loves it, and so do i cause he's learning to drive and the k car max speed is about 105 km with the pedal pegged. i can't say that i'm as excited about it as the kids, it's pretty hard on my image. i mean i'm getting older and i'm driving an old person's car. for someone who doesn't know me, it may look like a good fit ... which scares me. i think we need to add some bling like skater stickers, surf racks, spinning hub caps and a fir steering wheel cover ... levi is convinced the am only radio needs an upgrade to something that makes my license plate rattle as well as anything else within 30 feet. i'm more concerned with the engine knock, but a friend said to just put in thicker oil and that should take car of it. not a bad idea. both the back seat and the trunk can hold hockey equipment and levi the other day put his bike and hockey equipment, plus james in the car. so not only is it a sweet old person's car, but it's a work horse too that won't go over 105km and my kids like it, i can get talk radio on the am dial and for a thousand bucks, that's quite a few features. wanna go for a ride?
